SpaceMobility
The idea

Design the path around the person.

As the ISS approaches retirement, new commercial and national stations will need interiors that support much more than life support. Astronauts must be able to move efficiently, safely, and comfortably through compact three-dimensional spaces.

SpaceMobility is a 3D web application for building those movement paths inside a station model and evaluating the human cost of each route before a habitat is built.

What it does
  • Import or construct a 3D station model
  • Draw movement paths across X, Y, and Z
  • Evaluate workload, effort, and route complexity
  • Generate a Path Quality Score using NASA TLX principles
